Bridle Intellectual Property Ltd are a small team of intellectual property experts based in Kent, UK. Bridle IP helps clients to keep their intellectual property secure with patents, trademark, copyright and design consulting.
Working with a wide variety of clients from backgrounds including: engineering, medical devices and chemical compounds, Bridle IP has provided intellectual property consulting to multi-national corporations and individuals alike.
Bridle IP are specialists in the original drafting of patent applications as well as dealing with post grant issues, such as European oppositions.
Unlike many firms, the professionals within Bridle Intellectual Property have significant experience of European Patent Office opposition and appeal proceedings.
In addition to the general intellectual property services the firm offers, Bridle IP can also offer specialist knowledge in the areas of pharmaceuticals and chemistry. Based on many years spent working within and with the pharmaceutical industry, we provide best practice in the drafting and prosecution of pharmaceutical cases.

As well as being our Office Manager and seeing to the day to running of our office, Sarah has been a qualified Patent Administrator since April 2011 and deals with renewals for all patents, trade marks and designs and is also responsible for filing UK and EP Patents.
Sarah is accompanied by one of the many office dogs, her 4 year old working cocker spaniel called Stanley who also has responsibilities in the office and has been trained to bring up the post to her every morning.
Sarah’s interests outside of Bridle IP include dancing, singing, dog walking and spending time with her family.

Lyn Maytum
Lyn joined Bridle IP in 2009. Previously worked for 10 years within a patent department of a large pharmaceutical company. Qualified in the CIPA Patent Administration Course in 2003 and is also qualified in accounts. Responsibilities at Bridle IP include accounts, patent filings and renewals.
Brings Dexter to work every day. Interests include: family, singing in a choir, walking/keeping fit, fundraising for a local charity.
